Better late than never. I got to mess with the “Last Days Here” piece a little bit more. Still don’t know where I’m going, so I just throw out some rainbow color madness with the hope that she’ll say something.
She speaks…and her name is Anne.
She sees nothing but blinding, white hot rage. She doesn’t regret her mistakes, she just wishes she could forget them.

Oh yeah, sometimes I make notes in my “Chickens” book so I can forget.
So here it is. We’ve opted out of the twice a week comic update for an update on another “work in progress.” This one started with a pencil drawing with a little touch of acrylic and color pencil from Sam. I was really excited about this one because I always wanted to ink over Sam’s pencils, and this was my chance.
So what do I do, I get out the watercolors.
This is where it stands now. Still a long ways to go. I haven’t done much with the girl’s face and I’ve just mostly focused on the old man. I don’t really know where this is going or what to add to it at the moment. I can figure that out later. I’m going to go get a coffee.
MTV interviews both Sam and myself about the comic. They ask questions, we give them the run around.
I really regret covering those swell teeny-shoe, but only so much space on the canvas real estate… at least I knew well enough to leave that amazing face in the upper left, eh? Still working on it each week.. Some finished version of this will show up in the chickens strip, like Jon’s face painting did…
